2015-2016 Trip to Alva Area and White’s Feeders

The April 11th trip to Alva area and the White’s Feeders, resulted in 67 species of birds.  The trip bird was the Wild Turkey. The photo below was taken on a previous White’s feeder bird trip.

2015-2016 Trip to Fort DeSoto is posted.

The April 4th, 2016 trip to Fort DeSoto was a great trip with many new species for the year sighted. 88 birds were recorded with the Yellow-billed Cuckoo as the trip bird.

2015-2016 Babcock Ranch Trip #1 Results are Posted

March 21, 2016 trip to Babcock Ranch recorded 59 species.  Trip bird was a pair of Brown-headed Nuthatches found in a cavity in a tree.

2015-2016 STA-5 Trip # 5

March 19, 2016 The last official trip to STA-5 resulted in a total of 77 species with the Fulvous Whistling-Duck getting the vote for trip bird.
